We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Flooring Sales Consultant to join our dynamic team. This full-time role is ideal for someone who is energetic, takes initiative, and is eager to grow within a supportive and professional environment.

As a Flooring Sales Consultant, you will play a key role in helping customers find the perfect flooring solutions for their homes or businesses. You will also assist in managing warehouse operations, stock control, and coordination with contractors.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide exceptional in-store and on-site customer service and support

Travel to customers' homes to measure and quote flooring jobs

Assist customers through the sales journey, understanding their needs and recommending suitable products

Prepare and organise jobs for floor layers/contractors

Manage stock levels and assist with warehouse duties including loading and unloading deliveries

Operate a forklift (valid licence required)

Liaise with builders and those customers associated with the builders

Liaise with supplier representatives both in person and over the phone

Maintain accurate sales and customer data using computer systems

Ensure the store and warehouse are well presented, clean, and organised

Requirements:

Valid Driver’s Licence

Valid Forklift Licence

Working With Children Check (WWCC)

Current Police Check

Physically fit – able to handle flooring stock and assist with deliveries

Computer literate and comfortable with sales systems and quoting software

Well-presented, punctual, and articulate with excellent communication skills

Strong attention to detail and a willingness to take initiative

Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills

Passion for sales and delivering outstanding customer service

Experience within the construction industry preferred but not essential

40 hours per week (Monday – Friday)

X1 Saturday per month 9:00am – 12:00pm
