Project Coordinator – $450M+ Major Food Facility (Horsham)

Step into a career-building role with one of Melbourne’s fastest growing construction companies, specialising in concrete structures for large-scale building projects. From multi-level basements and suspended slabs through to high-rise cores and major infrastructure packages, their work is at the centre of some of the city’s most complex builds.

This project is a major new-build food manufacturing facility in Horsham, valued at over $450 million. You’ll be based on site for 12–18 months, with full support provided while you’re away from Melbourne, including:

• Accommodation provided
• Living Away From Home Allowance (LAFHA)
• Travel home on weekends covered
• Fully equipped site office and facilities

Once the project is complete, you’ll join the Melbourne team and continue working on major projects across the city.

You’ll be part of a highly experienced delivery team that values technical excellence, hands-on learning, and collaboration across all levels of site and project management.

What you’ll be doing

• Supporting project scheduling, planning, and coordination of concrete pours, reinforcement, and site logistics.
• Managing RFIs, ITPs, and document control to ensure the latest drawings and information are distributed correctly.
• Assisting the Site Foreman and Directors with QA setup, progress claims, cost tracking, and Green Star compliance.
• Acting as the key link between site teams, suppliers, subcontractors, and clients, ensuring communication and expectations are clear.
• Helping to maintain safe work practices and site compliance in line with company OH&S and environmental standards.
• Preparing and coordinating monthly reporting to support forecasting, progress, and future planning.

What they’re looking for

• A great attitude, initiative, and eagerness to learn.
• Some experience in concrete structures, building construction, or structural engineering.
• Ability to read and understand construction drawings.
• Strong organisation, communication, and reporting skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
• (Bonus) Familiarity with AS/NZS 4801, Green Star, Microsoft Project, Bluebeam, or Procore would be a plus.
