The Client
Our client is an Australian owned and market leading business headquartered in Rockhampton QLD. They are dedicated to the R&D, production and sales of products that enable Australian farmers to run their properties with ease and drive future long term success.
The Role
Due to significant growth, our client are now looking to hire an entrepreneurial and highly motivated Sales Specialist to join their team. You will be taking ownership of the Northern QLD, NT and WA territory offering huge potential and making it your own from day one. Site visits will be required to NT and WA 2-3 times per year along with mapping and visiting your Northern QLD accounts.
Key Accountabilities & Technical skills:
- Drive new business through meeting with current and prospective customers across the Northern QLD, NT and WA Territory – site visits will be required to NT and WA 2-3 times per year.
- Build and maintain solid, long term relationship with suppliers, resellers and key stakeholders
- Provide advice and recommendations to your accounts through your knowledge of the territory, products, market and people
- Identify and cultivate new sales opportunities from prospective clients
- Support the company’s continual search for product development and opportunities for improvement
- Travel your territory, map properties and provide quotations offering both short term and long term solutions
About you:
- Experience working in a similar sales role where you have driven growth and exceeded expectations through building lasting partnerships
- Presenting with an entrepreneurial mindset, you will be a natural hunter and thrive on delivering the best outcomes for your clients and key stakeholders
- You will be motivated to not only meet but exceed your role requirements with a strong desire to map out and build your territory
- You will have an understanding and passion for the rural environment of Australia
- Exceptional communication skills on both a verbal and written level combined with strong organisational skills
- You will influence and build rapport with ease – you thrive on building strong and lasting partnerships with your clients
- The ability to work autonomously and hold yourself to account whilst also being team driven
