Mobile Aquarium Care is niche business focusing on servicing of aquariums and ponds for a regular scheduled client base. We are well established business operating for over 25 years.

Our task is to create and maintain beautiful creative displays and provide a happy, healthy environment for the fish and aquatic plants.

It is an excellent opportunity for someone to turn a passion into a job. There is variety in the work environment and there is a lot of room to learn skills in a unique and interesting industry. Work is conducted indoors and out which gives a nice balance.

Tasks & responsibilities

Communicating and liaising with clients

Creating beautiful aquascapes in aquariums

Servicing pond and aquarium filters

Driving to specific job sites

Cleaning and servicing aquariums and ponds, including filters

Adding of fish and plants

Organizing specific products, fish or plants for induvial jobs

Must be able to lift up to 20kg and work in various weather conditions

Qualifications & experience

This role would suit someone:

Who has previously worked in a similar role servicing aquariums

Minimum of 2 years' experience with aquarium keeping

Who has worked in an aquarium retail environment

A passionate hobbyist who would like to turn this into a career

An aquaculture background

Who is studying Marine Science

A General interest in the aquatic world and aquariums

May suit a pool technician or someone that has worked in landscaping

Full driver's license required

Long term working Visa required

Must have unrestricted work rights in Australia or a valid long-term work visa (minimum 2 years validity)

Knowledge of water chemistry

Strong communication and customer service skills for client interactions

Professional presentation and reliability for regular client visits
