Artisan Food and Drinks is seeking a Full time Food Service Sales Rep for the Perth Metro region.

Who we are…. we are a wholesale distributor to the WA food and drink industry - selling to independent retailers, chefs, caterers and cafes, casinos, and stadiums. You will be responsible for driving business in the food service sector by servicing existing customers, developing relationships, finding gaps, showing new products and establishing opportunities with the goal of getting our full portfolio ranges into each of your allocated locations.

To be successful in this role you will require extensive experience in food service, chef experience, café experience or food sales in Perth. You know the market and you know the people within it. You know about all the new restaurant openings and can chat to anyone. You know the food trends and what chefs and cafes want. You develop close relationships with Chefs and Cafe owners and develop those relationships weekly.

You will work alongside our Business Development Manager to grow our share of the market together.

Qualities and attributes required for this role will include:
· Experience identifying and securing new business
· An ability to build strong relationships with customers
· The ability to plan your own day to day sales activities servicing current and generating new customers
· Ability to learn an awareness of the merits of all our products and suggesting applications or ideas to customers
· Excellent communication skills and reporting weekly to the team on successes and opportunities

· A knowledge or experience of foreign and domestic cheese sales and fresh black truffles - although full training will be given.

You will need to possess a full clean driver's license.

This role offers a competitive salary package worth $100,000pa which comprises of $76,000 salary plus superannuation plus a fully maintained vehicle and petrol card.

This role will also require around 15% of your time covering a few retail sales stores so flexibility is essential.
