The Role
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Client Partner, Digital Marketing to join our growing Sydney team. In this pivotal role, you will be the primary strategic partner and point of contact for a portfolio of key clients. You will be the lynchpin between our clients' business objectives and our global service delivery teams, ensuring the seamless execution of integrated digital strategies.
The ideal candidate is a passionate client advocate with a deep understanding of the digital marketing landscape, capable of building lasting relationships and driving account growth.
Key Responsibilities
Client Relationship Management: Act as the primary point of contact for assigned clients, fostering strong, long-term partnerships built on trust and strategic value. Develop a deep understanding of each client's business, industry, and objectives to provide proactive, insightful counsel.
Strategic Account & Campaign Oversight: Collaborate with clients to define campaign goals, KPIs, and strategic roadmaps across Paid Media, Content, and AI SEO. Translate client needs into clear, actionable briefs for our AU teams and internal, globally-distributed specialist teams.
Growth & Performance: Oversee the end-to-end lifecycle, ensuring campaigns are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standard. Proactively identify opportunities for account growth, including up-selling and cross-selling BMG’s diverse service offerings.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work seamlessly with our international teams of specialists. Facilitate clear communication and efficient workflows between clients and internal teams to ensure strategic alignment and flawless execution.
Reporting & Insights: Oversee the creation and delivery of insightful performance reports, clearly communicating results and providing data-driven recommendations for future optimisations. Present campaign results to key client stakeholders with confidence and clarity.
What You'll Bring (Skills & Qualifications)
Required:
4-10+ years of experience in account management, client services, or a similar role within a digital marketing agency.
Proven experience managing a portfolio of clients and serving as their primary strategic advisor.
A strong, foundational understanding of core digital marketing channels, including Paid Media (Google Ads, Meta Ads), Content Marketing, and SEO.
Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
Excellent project management skills, with a proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
A proactive, solution-oriented mindset with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Nice to Have (Bonus Points):
Specific experience or keen interest in AI-driven SEO strategies and tools.
Experience working with international teams across different time zones.
Hands-on experience with platforms like Google Analytics, Google Ads, SEMrush, Looker Studio, Later.com, Grin, or similar tools
A Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
