We are recruiting on behalf of a leading national service organisation that provides essential services across residential and commercial clients. With strong growth in their South Australian operations, they are seeking a hands-on Operations Manager to lead their expanding branch team.

About the Role
This is a pivotal leadership position where you’ll oversee day-to-day operations, managing a team of 17–18 field technicians, supported by schedulers and compliance staff. Acting as the right hand to the Branch Manager, you’ll be responsible for:

• Leading, mentoring and motivating operational staff to deliver results
• Overseeing scheduling, compliance, fleet management, stock and OH&S
• Managing and growing key commercial accounts across retail and education sectors
• Driving operational efficiency, role clarity, and continuous improvement
• Ensuring service quality, client satisfaction, and KPI achievement

About You
We are looking for a resilient leader who thrives in a fast-paced, hands-on environment. You may come from pest control, trades, transport, logistics, or another field-service industry — what matters is your ability to manage multiple moving parts, earn respect from field staff, and deliver results.
You’ll bring:

• Demonstrated operations leadership experience (2+ years in a similar role)
• Proven success managing field-based teams in a busy service environment
• Strong client-facing and account management capability
• Solid knowledge of compliance, OH&S, and continuous improvement principles
