Ivan’s Pies is opening our brand-new café and we’re looking for enthusiastic Café Assistants to help us deliver friendly service and delicious food to our community.

About the Role

As a Café Assistant, you’ll be the friendly face of our café, supporting both front-of-house and kitchen operations. From preparing food and drinks, to serving customers, handling point-of-sale, and keeping the café looking its best, no two days will be the same.

Key Responsibilities

Greet customers and provide warm, attentive service.

Take orders, operate the POS system, and manage cash/transactions.

Assist in preparing and serving food, coffee, and cold drinks.

Clear tables, wash dishes, and maintain a clean, welcoming environment for our patrons.

Support the team with stock rotation, restocking, and display presentation.

Uphold food safety, hygiene, and café service standards at all times.

About You

We’re looking for someone who is:

Friendly, reliable, and team-oriented.

Comfortable in a fast-paced environment.

Experienced in customer service or café work (barista skills a bonus, but not essential as training will be provided)

Flexible and willing to jump in wherever needed.

Available to work across weekdays and weekends.
