The Role:

Our client is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Legal Assistant who thrives in a fast-paced environment.

The role supports a friendly Partner and their busy team in litigated matters in multiple jurisdictions arising from areas such as public liability claims, insurance coverage (medical indemnity), coronial inquests, mental health law, and risk and compliance.

Duties:

• Preparing and filing court documents across multiple jurisdictions
• Coordinating conferences and group events
• Drafting legal and formal correspondence
• Managing calendars and scheduling for the Partner and team
• Assisting with legal research tasks

About you:

• Experience as a Legal Assistant in a similar role
• Appreciation of risk-sensitive and confidential information
• Ability to remain calm under pressure
• Effective time management
