Select Industrial is seeking a skilled Maintenance Electrician with a strong focus on Switchboard, UPS and power quality systems installations, auditing and servicing. This role is central to ensuring the reliability and performance of electrical infrastructure for our clients across a wide range of industries.

You will be responsible for preventative and reactive maintenance, inspections, and detailed reporting, while also taking part in installations and upgrades of critical electrical systems. This position offers a unique opportunity to expand your technical skills, with training provided for the right applicant.

Job Tasks and Responsibilities

Switchboard Systems: Carry out preventative and reactive maintenance, inspections, and audits.

UPS & Power Quality: Install, commission, service, and maintain UPS’s, Power Factor Correction and other power quality systems.

Fault Response: Diagnose and resolve electrical issues.

Reporting: Prepare accurate, detailed maintenance and service reports using a variety of technical software platforms.

Compliance: Ensure all work meets Australian Standards, WHS requirements, and company procedures.

On-Call Support: Participate in a rostered on-call schedule to provide timely client support.

Desirable Competencies

Trade qualification in Electrical or a related field.

Experience in switchboard maintenance, UPS servicing, and power quality systems.

Strong understanding of electrical testing, diagnostics, and auditing.

Competence in technical report writing and use of digital reporting tools.

Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Commitment to safe work practices and compliance with standards.

Willingness to learn — training will be provided for the right applicant.
