The Role:

NT Link is currently seeking applications for trade qualified/licenced Electricians.

This role will complete Electrical installation and maintenance works for new builds and refurbishments, as well as perform routine electrical works as required.

Working days/hours are typically Monday – Friday, 6:30am – 3:00pm, with occasional half-day work available on Saturdays, in line with peak business demands.

There may be some requirement to travel to remote sites at times to support Project and Installation works (remote allowances will apply).

Vehicle Allowance will be paid upon mutual agreement for those candidates who have their own vehicle equipped for work use. This position will primarily work across both Berrimah and Pinelands NT Link sites.

To be successful in any NT Link roles, candidates need to possess the ability to work effectively with team members with various backgrounds and skill levels, and be consistently focussed on working efficiently, whilst maintaining high quality standards and delivering on Health and safety responsibilities.

It is essential all suitable candidates hold:

Construction White Card

NT Electrical Trade License (Unrestricted)

Working at Heights (renewed in previous 2 years)

Current Drivers License

Extensive knowledge of AS3000 Australian Standards.

Desirable but not essential:

High Risk Forklift License

Restricted Split System Installation License

Please note:

This is not a FIFO role - candidates must be based in Darwin

Candidates must hold valid, permanent Australian working rights

Candidates must be able to adhere to NT Link’s Drug and Alcohol Policy and must be willing to undergo a National Police Clearance and/or fitness for work assessment due to the nature of the work
