Support smarter asset management.
Join our Asset Management team and provide essential administration, customer service, and system support to help manage Maroondah’s community asset portfolio.
As our Asset Support Officer, you’ll keep things moving—turning requests into actions, data into insight, and meetings into outcomes.
Your opportunity
• Keep projects on track – provide administrative support for asset management and planning projects.
• Be the connector – liaise with internal teams and the community to coordinate responses to asset-related enquiries.
• Support collaboration – assist committees and working groups by scheduling, preparing agendas, and ensuring smooth meetings.
• Bring clarity – draft and format policies, plans, guidelines, agreements, and presentations.
• Look after security – help manage Council’s security systems and support reliable operations.
About you
• You’re organised and detail-driven, with proven admin or customer service experience.
• You enjoy working with people—building rapport, solving problems, and keeping communication clear.
• You’re comfortable with data and systems and can pick up new processes quickly.
• You thrive in a support role, keeping things running smoothly while juggling competing priorities.
• Above all, you’re proactive and team-minded, ready to step in where needed.

About Maroondah City Council
Maroondah City Council was constituted as a new municipality on 15 December 1994. The City of Maroondah is made up of three wards, with each ward represented by three Councillors.
Council elections were held in November 2012 and the new Council will remain in office until the next election in 2016. Councillors elect the Mayor each year to serve as the principal ambassador for the City.
