Our client a leading organisation is seekaing a Senior Network Systems Administrator, to lead the designing, implementing, and managing secure, high-performance network infrastructure. This is a leadership position that combines technical excellence with team development.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead ICT/System Admin teams in delivering infrastructure uplifts and ongoing operations.
• Architect and manage secure, scalable network environments.
• Develop and maintain DevSecOps/ICT policies and procedures.
• Provide mentoring, coaching, and professional development to team members.
• Evaluate technical options and provide strategic recommendations.
• Collaborate across teams to drive innovation and continuous improvement.
• Ensure compliance with WHS, privacy, and enterprise policies.

Skills & Experience

• Tertiary qualification in IT or equivalent experience.
• Advanced knowledge of routing, switching, VPNs, firewalls, and protocols (BGP, OSPF, MPLS).
• Experience with virtualisation technologies (VMWare, ESXi, NSX, vSphere).
• Proficiency in automation tools (Ansible, Python, PowerShell).
• Strong Linux administration and backup/recovery expertise.
• Familiarity with Cisco, FortiNet, and other networking products.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
