In this Finance Officer role, you’ll support the delivery of core financial functions.

This is a part-time position on an initial 12-month hourly-rate contract, with the possibility of permanency based on performance. Working hours are 9:00–3:00, Monday to Friday.

The Role

Key responsibilities include:

• Processing accounts payable and receivable transactions in a timely and accurate manner
• Performing bank and credit card reconciliations and supporting treasury activities
• Ensuring payment deadlines and compliance requirements are met
• Responding to queries from internal and external stakeholders
• Identifying potential issues and escalating them promptly to management

The Ideal Person

You are friendly, approachable, and keen to learn and adding value to a small, close-knit team. You will be IT-savvy, and be a proactive learner.

You will likely come from a finance or administration background. Prior experience in accounts and treasury is an advantage; however, this agency has a supportive team and will provide training to bridge any gaps.

This role requires a Baseline security clearance.

This role is offered on a part-time basis only.

Salary / Rate

• $78k – $85k (FTE) + Super
• 12-month non-ongoing contract
• WFH flexibility
