Our client is an established Australian accounting firm with over 18 years’ experience providing tax and accounting services to a diverse range of small and medium-sized businesses. Uniquely, their team members work entirely remotely while continuing to deliver outstanding client support.

The role

They are looking for a full-time Senior Accountant and they are offering 100% remote.

You will play a key role in managing a varied portfolio of clients, including family groups and businesses across industries such as hospitality, and professional services. Working closely with experienced Managers and a supportive Partners, you’ll deliver tailored advisory and compliance solutions that make a real impact.

Responsibilities:

Managing a portfolio of SME clients

Preparing and reviewing financial statements, tax returns, BAS/IAS

Delivering tax planning and strategic advisory to clients

Managing client relationships and being their trusted advisor

Collaborating with Partners and Managers to deliver high-quality service

Mentoring junior staff and reviewing work as needed

About You

We’re looking for someone who brings:

6+ years’ experience in public practice

CA or CPA qualified

Strong working knowledge of Xero

Excellent communication and client management skills

A proactive, solutions-focused mindset

Full working rights as an Australian citizen or permanent resident
