Building Maintenance Officer
Northern Sydney
Up to $45 per hour + Super

I'm working with a leading local council to recruit a Buildings Maintenance Officer. This role will see you out on the ground across the LGA, making sure community facilities and buildings are safe, compliant, and well-maintained. This position is a part time contracted role.

The Role

• Carry out inspections of buildings, facilities, and playgrounds to identify defects.
• Raise work requests and follow up on maintenance rectifications.
• Inspect essential services and support contractors on site.
• Handle customer requests/complaints and provide quick resolutions.
• Undertake minor hands-on maintenance works where required.
• Use mobile technology to record inspection data.

What You'll Need

• Trade qualification (carpentry, plumbing, electrical, or similar).
• Strong experience in building/facility inspections and defect reporting.
• Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities.
• White Card and current driver's licence essential.
