About the role

Winpart Group is seeking an experienced Heavy Combination (HC) Driver to join our team in Bathurst, NSW and operate our fleet of new Volvo automatic vehicles.

This current full-time Afternoon Shift position runs 5 days per week Monday to Friday, based out of Bathurst NSW, and collecting freight from Horsley Park NSW. The hours of work will start at 4.00pm and finish around 12.30am, with the opportunity for overtime as required.

Winpart is also looking for Casual HC drivers to fill a few runs throughout day and nightshift work. If you're looking for variety in the daily routine are flexible with work hours, then this position is for you. Lucrative hourly rates offered for the right applicant.

If you're a professional driver who enjoys the quieter roads and consistency of night work, this could be the perfect role for you. Immediate starts are available, but we're happy to work with the right candidates on start dates.

What You'll Be Doing – Afternoon Shift Role

Operating heavy vehicles (semi-trailers) safely and professionally during afternoon and evening hours

Loading and unloading freight, securing loads, and ensuring all necessary paperwork is completed

Following road safety rules, adhering to company policies, and managing driver fatigue

Maintaining the cleanliness and roadworthiness of assigned vehicles

Providing excellent customer service with on-time deliveries

Coordinating with the dispatch and fleet management teams throughout your shift

What we're looking for

Minimum 2 years' experience driving HC vehicles in road transport

Sound understanding of safe driving practices and fatigue management

Strong attention to detail and a commitment to workplace safety

Effective communication skills and good customer service

Valid HC driver's licence with a clean driving record

Driving record must have less than 3 points to be considered clean

Comfortable working afternoon shifts regularly

Permanent resident status is required for this position
