DB Chinois Pty Limited T/A Gran Torino Ristorante owned and operated by Neil Perry, is seeking an experienced Restaurant Manager to lead its Front of House team. As one of Sydney’s most respected Dining Groups, this is an opportunity to work with some of the most highly respected professionals in the industry. We are looking for an experienced Restaurant Manager who will be committed to the role and enjoy the challenge of leading the successful sequence of service in the restaurant. This is a full-time position, that will see you work closely with all levels of staff in the venue.

Your duties will include but not be limited to:

·Oversee the entire sequence or service provided to all guests throughout the entire venue

·Work with chefs to consult on menus and daily specials and communicate menu information to all floor staff.

·Liaise with customers to ensure their satisfaction, and ensure a successful and enjoyable experience for all customers.

·Maintain a clean & organised venue ensuring the dining facilities comply with Health and Safety regulations.

·Assist in organising and overseeing events and special functions

·Organise and plan rosters for Front of House team, managing staff costs according to budget.

·Establishing training modules and conducting regular staff training.

·Ensuring the appropriate storage and rotation of all stock and maintain stock levels

·Over see reservations, host duties in greeting and seating guests

·Oversee all financial transactions, Cash up of till including counting money or finalise takings using POS system.

·Ability to work to a set budget for purchase and set wage cost/staffing levels

· Ensuring the WHS procedures and protocols are upheld and adhered to.

To be successful in this full time position you will have:

·A minimum of at least 3 years supervisory/ managerial experience in the Hospitality industry.

·Proven experience in high restaurant service standards and ability to lead a front of House team use restaurant ordering and POS software and programs,

·Ability to work to a budget and forecast sales & wage costs while overseeing restaurant ordering, POS and time and attendance software and programs,

·You must have a demonstrated ability to lead a team in providing exceptional customer service and work well under pressure

·You will have the ability to interact and work with all levels of staff; from junior employees, through to Executive Management/Owners.
