Salary: $78,424.32 per annum

We are seeking a suitably qualified and experienced person to fill the position of Early Childhood Educator Service Leader at Frank R Pullar Children’s Centre. This position would suit a person with experience in staff leadership, business management, family engagement and children’s educational programming. Minimum requirement is Diploma Children’s Services, 5 years in charge of children’s service or large team and extensive experience and knowledge in the National Quality Framework and Child Safe standards.
The successful applicant will be able to:
Research current trends and practices to enhance services ongoing commitment to quality improvement,
Mentor and support new staff at all levels of children’s services qualification at the service, encourage, support and develop the professional capacity of the team
Ensure the provision and maintenance of high quality, flexible, culturally relevant and inclusive early childhood services which meet the needs of a diverse user group
Provide professional advice and assistance to the public and other stakeholders to ensure easy access to all relevant services
Communicate effectively with clients and colleagues and able to positively resolve conflict and have effective customer service skills and experience

Applicants must hold the following current qualifications and certificates:
Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care or Bachelor of Early Childhood Education (or equivalent recognised by ACECQA)
Current HLTAID012 Provide First Aid in an education and care setting
Current CPR – HLTAID009 Provide cardiopulmonary resuscitation
Criminal History Check (valid within six months).
Current and valid Employee Working with Children Check (WWCC).
Protecting Children – Mandatory reporting and other obligations early childhood
