The Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Client Services Officer to join our Finance team. Reporting directly to the Financial Controller, this is a structured, hands-on role designed for someone early in their career with strong administrative and numerical skills.
You will take ownership of core finance and administration processes that underpin our operations, working with precision and accountability. This is not a client-facing position, but one that plays a critical part in ensuring smooth financial processing, compliance, and reporting across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities
Process daily banking transactions and manage payment bounce backs.
Monitor and manage payfile arrears and lease arrears.
Validate payroll files to ensure accuracy and compliance.
Reconcile invoices and process superannuation bulk clearing.
Manage ad hoc invoicing and support finance reporting needs.
Perform data cleansing and other reconciliations.
Coordinate file rollovers and assist with scheduled reporting.
Maintain structured workflows with calendars and checklists.
About You
Strong administrative skills with a passion for working with numbers.
High attention to detail, reliability, and accountability for your work.
Quick learner who can consolidate and analyse data from multiple sources.
Confident communicator with the ability to work with a range of internal and external stakeholders and adjust approach to suit different audiences.
Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, formatting).
Professional presentation and strong organisational ability.
Financial qualifications or an interest in pursuing CA/CPA accreditation (desirable).
Knowledge of tax laws such as FBT is advantageous.
