Macarthur Football Association is currently seeking a Canteen Manager. This is a part-time role working 30 hours a week to commence mid-November 2025.

The working days will include weekends and some night work.

The Canteen Manager is responsible for the day-to-day operations and financial management of the MFA canteen. This position requires strong organisational, communication, and interpersonal skills, as well as a commitment to providing a safe, healthy, and welcoming canteen environment for players, parents, staff, and our wider local football community.

Specific Criteria

· Operational and Financial Management

· Oversee the financial operations of the canteen in line with MFA policies and procedures.

· Maintain accurate records, manage daily takings, and reconcile

· Conduct regular stock takes and maintain appropriate stock levels.

· Order stock using MFA-approved suppliers and manage inventory efficiently.

· Ensure all food handling and storage practices meet NSW Food Authority standards.

· Comply with local Council health and safety regulations, including readiness for audits and inspections

· Coordinate and manage the servicing and maintenance of all canteen equipment (e.g., refrigerators, ovens, freezers)

· Recruit, schedule, and manage all staff and community volunteers.

· Ensure all volunteers complete mandatory Child Protection and Food Safety training

· Communicate clearly and professionally with all stakeholders

· Have a current Food Safety Supervisor Certificate and First Aid in an Education and Care Setting, including current certification in:
