Maintenance Technician (Electrical or Mechanical)

Location: Alexandria

Shift: Day Shift

Salary: $52 - $55 + Super + OT

We have an exciting opportunity for a skilled Maintenance professional to a multinational business. If you have a trade qualification as a fitter or electrician and experience in the FMCG and manufacturing industry, this role could be a great fit for you.

Key Responsibilities:

• Troubleshooting electrical and mechanical faults, production breakdowns, production start-ups and shutdowns
• Planned maintenance and using our Spindle maintenance program

• Drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Support production and site activities to optimize productivity and minimize downtime.
• Ensure planned maintenance aligns with plant and resource availability.
• Diagnose faults and manage equipment/process failures proactively.

About You:

• Trade qualification as a fitter or electrician.
• Familiarity with manufacturing processes
• Experience within FMCG, high-speed packaging equipment and manufacturing environments
• Understanding of safety systems, including risk assessments and incident reporting.
• Computer literacy and strong communication skills.
