Employment: Type: Ongoing, Permanent Part Time (minimum 28 hours per week)

Award: Nurses and Midwives (Victorian Public Sector) Enterprise Agreement 2024-2028

Reports to: Committee of Management (COM)

Ensay Bush Nursing Centre is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse Division one to lead our Centre as Centre Manager / Nurse Manager. This is a unique opportunity to work autonomously in a vital community role, providing both clinical and operational leadership.

Located in Victoria’s picturesque high country, Ensay offers a lifestyle rich in outdoor activities; skiing; fishing; hiking; wineries and more just an hour away from Mt Hotham and the Gippsland Lakes.

Key Responsibilities:

· Deliver primary and emergency care as a sole practitioner

· Respond to community health needs and emergency incidents

· Oversee centre operations including HR, budgeting, reporting, compliance and attend meetings

· Engage with the Omeo and District’s Regional Health Network and local stakeholders

Essential Criteria:

· Current AHPRA registration

· Minimum 3 year’s post-graduate experience (including emergency or acute care)

· Proven clinical and assessment skills

· Current driver’s licence

· Ability to work independently

· Willingness to complete the Victorian Remote Area Nurse Training (mandatory)

· Advanced Life Support certificate

Desirable:

· Nurse Immuniser qualification (or willingness to obtain)

· Rural and Isolated Practice Registered Nurses (RIPRN) Endorsement

· Management experience
