Working alongside our dedicated night care team you will be expected to deliver all aspects of nursing care to every resident in accordance with our policies and procedures. These are in place to ensure the dignity and integrity of each resident and foster their independence and choice. The Role

We are looking for an experienced Registered Nurse Night Shift to join our cohesive team. The candidate must be competent to provide guidance and leadership within the Clinical team to deliver consumer directed care. Under the guidance of the Service Manager, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive and accurate nursing assessments, engage in nursing practices that enhance the dignity and integrity of the resident’s independence and the management of medications. You will liaise with medical practitioners, family and other health professionals in the planning, implementation and evaluation of the individual resident care.

About You

The following qualifications and attributes will ensure that you are well equipped to provide quality care to our elderly residents in our beautiful, aged care facility setting:

Bachelor of Nursing qualification with current AHPRA registration

Previous experience working in an Australian Aged Care Facility

Knowledge and ability to care for patients with dementia patients

Demonstrated competence in medication management, clinical skills and documentation

Strong team orientation with a commitment to achieving the best possible outcomes for residents

A demonstrated commitment to continuous improvement in their practices

Empathy and understanding towards elderly residents and their families

Knowledge of AN-ACC and Accreditation standards is advantageous

Familiarity with Autumn Care would be highly regarded

Current National Police Check
