About the Role
We are looking for an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer to join us on a Full-time basis, maintaining our fleet of BAE 146 & DHC-8- Q400 aircraft. Working alongside the Supervising LAME, the AME is responsible for the performance of aircraft maintenance and for the completion of assigned maintenance tasks.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
Perform line maintenance activities on our fleet of DeHavilland DHC8-400 and BAE146 Aircraft.
Record and report any defects identified during maintenance to the Certifying Employee and document them in the applicable Maintenance Record.
Ensure all aircraft maintenance and associated documentation are completed in accordance with the MOE, Procedures Manuals, and the relevant CAMO requirements.
Maintain personal tool control and ensure accountabilities for all tools and equipment used in maintenance.
Uphold the general condition, upkeep, and housekeeping of hangars, workshops, work areas, and vehicles.
Provide guidance and support to Apprentices when required.
Adhere strictly to Engineering WHSMS policies and procedures.
Support and promote SMS, QMS, and a Just Culture.
Perform any other duties as directed by the LAME, Leading Hand, Senior Base Engineer, or Maintenance Manager.
Skills and Experience
To be considered for this position with NJE, you must meet the following mandatory requirements:
Ability to obtain an Aviation Security Identification Card (ASIC)
Ability to obtain an Airside Driving Licence
Certificate IV in Aeroskills or equivalent qualification
Ability to undergo and pass a pre-employment medical assessment and Drug & Alcohol screening
Aeronautical Radio Operators Certificate (AROC) preferred.
