A busy fabrication workshop based in Traralgon, Victoria is looking for 5 qualified Boilermakers to join their team. They are flat out with projects and need skilled tradespeople to help fabricate steel cages for industrial generators.

This is a great opportunity to secure consistent, well-paid work through to Christmas, with competitive hourly rates and a supportive team environment.

Your new role

You will be working in a fully equipped workshop fabricating steel cages designed to house and protect large-scale generator units. This is hands-on, precision work requiring attention to detail and solid MIG welding skills. You'll be joining a team of experienced tradespeople who take pride in delivering durable, high-performance products.

• Reading and interpreting fabrication drawings
  
• MIG welding and structural steel fabrication
  
• Assembling steel cages to specification
  
• Operating workshop machinery and tools safely
  
• Maintaining a clean and safe work environment
  

What you'll need to succeed

They are after reliable, qualified Boilermakers who are ready to get stuck in and help us meet demand. You'll need to be confident working independently and as part of a team, with a strong work ethic and a commitment to quality.

• Trade qualification in Boilermaking or Fabrication
  
• Proven experience in structural steel fabrication
  
• Proficiency in MIG welding
  
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
  
• Own Adflo or equivalent PAPR welding respirator
  
• Full PPE and basic hand tools
  
• Available to work Monday to Friday, 7:00am-3:30pm
