Our client is a well-established and respected name in structural steel fabrication, delivering high-quality work across commercial, infrastructure, and residential projects throughout Victoria. With a strong pipeline of ongoing work, they are now seeking experienced Boilermakers to join their Sunshine-based workshop team.

Position: Boilermaker – Workshop Based
Location: Sunshine, VIC
Pay Rate: $55 per hour (casual)
Hours: 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM, Monday to Friday
Overtime & Saturday work available
Monthly RDO
Temp to Perm Opportunity – Potential for a permanent role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Fabricate structural steel components for a variety of projects including commercial, infrastructure, and residential builds
• Weld and assemble beams, square tube, steel, aluminium, and stainless steel
• Perform welding using MIG, SMAW (stick), and FCAW methods
• Carry out repairs on worn or damaged boilers and structural components
• Assist with blasting and occasional painting tasks as required
• Interpret and work from detailed fabrication drawings
• Operate workshop tools and machinery safely and efficiently

Requirements:

• Solid workshop experience with structural steel fabrication
• Proficiency in MIG welding heavy gauge steel
• Ability to read and interpret complex fabrication drawings
• Reliable, safety-conscious, and detail-oriented
• Must be available from 6am – 4.30pm Monday to Saturday
