Mount Lawley Orthodontics is seeking the right person for a Dental Receptionist/DCA position within our friendly and professional environment. Our team is passionate about providing patients with exceptional customer service in an unique modern premises.

In operation for 25 years, the practice is conveniently located 5 minutes from the CBD in the heart of the bustling Mount Lawley shopping precinct. Mount Lawley Orthodontics is a spacious contemporary workspace, focusing on the latest technology. Our Patient Record and Appointment Booking systems are digital. We aim to be paper free.

Primary responsibilities for this role include:

Greeting and scheduling patients

Answering phone calls

Managing the patient data base

Processing payments, handling health fund claims and banking

Preparing incoming and outgoing mail/ e-mails

Production of client and colleague reports will become additional skill sets as you become familiar with our systems

It would be advantageous if you could additionally contribute to our team in the role of a qualified clinical DCA. This would provide the possibility of a varied position both at Reception and in the Treatment Room over the working week, if it was attractive to you.

What we offer you:

The position as it currently exists is 32.5 hours over 4 days per week, Monday to Thursday (8:15AM to 5:00PM) and is nearly full time. This leaves you with a 3 DAY WEEKEND and NO EVENING WORK. Our team enjoy an excellent work life balance as a result. Alternatively, it is of note that there may be the possibility of additional Friday work into the future if this is of interest to you.

Who we're looking for:

A warm professional communicator who values patient care and teamwork

Someone with front office and or clinical experience, ideally in a dental setting

Strong organisational skills and keen attention to detail, including the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.

You must be an Australian resident to be considered. Following the initial trial period we are looking to welcome a new team member for the long term
