HD Mechanics – FIFO Gold Mine | 2:1 Roster | $85–$90/hr + Super | Long-Term Work

We’re looking for experienced Heavy Diesel Mechanics for a gold mine in Davyhurst, WA. This is long-term work with a reputable mining company, offering competitive rates and excellent hours.

Job Details:

• Start Date: ASAP
• Location: Davyhurst, FIFO from Perth
• Roster: 2:1
• Hours: 12-hour shifts
• Rate: $85–$90/hr flat + super (paid weekly)

Equipment You’ll Work On:

• Cat Loaders 988K, 988K XE & 980K
• Cat Excavators 330GC, 329D
• Cat Grader 140M
• Komatsu Excavators PC360, PC138
• Mack & Kenworth Prime Movers

Key Duties:

• Heavy diesel maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on mobile mining plant
• Component change-outs (engines, transmissions, hydraulics)
• Field service and breakdown support
• Pre-start inspections, fault finding, and safety checks
• Maintain service records and follow site safety procedures

Requirements:

• Trade-qualified HD Fitter / Heavy Diesel Mechanic
• 5+ years post-trade experience, preferably on mining mobile plant
• Valid driver’s licence
• Ability to pass pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol tests
• Strong safety focus and team-oriented attitude
