The opportunity

As an IT Technician at Greyology, you will play a crucial role in providing technical support and troubleshooting assistance to our clients, who are Senior citizens. In this casual position, you will be responsible for addressing a wide range of IT-related issues and ensuring the smooth operation of our clients' tech. It is an on-site tech support role, where you will travel to the Client's houses. This role is perfect for Uni students. We work around your hours! Demand drives jobs, anywhere from 5 - 20 jobs a week.

Key responsibilities

Provide first-line technical support to clients via phone, email, and in-person interactions

Diagnose and resolve hardware and software problems, including desktop computers, laptops, printers, and other IT equipment

Assist with the installation, configuration, and maintenance of IT systems and applications

Liaise with clients to understand their IT requirements and provide practical solutions

Maintain accurate records of all support tickets and activities

Collaborate with the broader IT team to implement system improvements and enhancements

Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and industry trends to provide the best possible support

Safely travelling to clients houses in own car

What we're looking for

A minimum of 1-2 years of experience in an IT support or help desk role

Fresh or under graduates are welcome to apply for this position

Strong technical skills and a good understanding of hardware, software, and networking concepts

Proficiency in Windows OS, Mac OS, network troubleshooting, and Office 365 is essential

Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities to quickly identify and resolve issues

Exceptional customer service skills and the ability to communicate technical information to non-technical users

A proactive and adaptable approach to work, with the ability to prioritise tasks and manage multiple projects

Relevant qualifications in Information Technology or a related field would be highly desirable

Australian work rights are mandatory for this position

Australian License and own car
