About the Role As the Quality Coordinator, you’ll be responsible for ensuring the organisation meets all quality, safety, and compliance standards across NDIS, disability, and healthcare frameworks. You’ll manage systems that support safe, effective, and person-centred care, while guiding staff and promoting a culture of continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and maintain quality and safety systems, policies, and procedures.
- Coordinate audits, risk assessments, and service reviews.
- Prepare documentation for accreditation and liaise with auditors/regulators.
- Provide coaching and guidance to staff on quality and safety practices.
- Manage incident reporting, investigations, and corrective actions.
- Analyse data and feedback to support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Act as the point of contact for quality matters, ensuring clear communication with internal stakeholders.
About You
- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse.
- Strong background in quality, safety, and compliance within disability, NDIS, or healthcare.
- Experience in audits, policy development, and risk management.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organisational skills.
- Collaborative, detail-oriented, and committed to continuous improvement.
Desirable:
- Experience in investigations and safeguarding practices.
- Knowledge of restrictive practices and person-centred care.
- Familiarity with accreditation frameworks (ISO, NSQHS, NDIS).
