Senior Project Manager
Design and Build Recruitment have partnered with a national Tier 2 Construction Company to find an experienced and passionate Senior Project Manager to play a key leadership role in both project delivery and future business growth.

As the Senior Project Manager, you will play a pivotal role in the successful delivery of $200M commercial project located in the inner city of Brisbane. You will also act as the Bid Leader across new tenders in Queensland, working closely with pre-construction and estimating teams to secure and win new projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the delivery of new build commercial projects from planning through to handover.
• Provide strategic oversight on complex projects, mentoring project teams and driving best practice across planning, procurement, delivery, and stakeholder engagement.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met.
• Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation.
• Monitor project progress and performance, implementing corrective actions as needed.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant building codes, regulations, and standards.
• Foster a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement on site.
• Work closely with the pre-con and estimating team to secure and win new projects.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Proven experience as a Senior Project Manager in large scale commercial new build projects valued $50M+.
• Strong understanding of construction processes, methodologies, and best practices.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to oversee multiple projects simultaneously and work effectively under pressure.
• Relevant tertiary qualifications in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
