About the Role:

Join our dynamic team within the Division of Cancer and Ambulatory Support, delivering comprehensive cancer care across inpatient, outpatient, and community settings. We are seeking a Rapid Assessment Nurse Practitioner to work primarily in our Rapid Assessment Unit-a dedicated service offering urgent care for cancer patients as an alternative to emergency department visits. You'll collaborate closely with treating teams and be supported by Nurse Practitioners and Registered Nurses. This role offers professional development, formal clinical supervision from Medical Officers, and opportunities to engage in research, teaching, and service innovation. The unit operates Monday to Friday, 8am to 6pm, within the Canberra Region Cancer Centre and associated inpatient wards.
