Sotero is partnering with a well-regarded health facility in Murrumbidgee region of NSW to find an experienced Nurse Unit Manager to lead a subacute ward providing rehabilitation and palliative care.

About the Role:
As the Nurse Unit Manager, you’ll lead the day-to-day operations of a 26-bed subacute inpatient ward specialising in rehabilitation and palliative care.

You’ll be responsible for:

• Providing clinical leadership and strategic direction to ensure safe, high-quality patient care
• Leading a multidisciplinary team of RNs, assistants, clerks, allied health and new grads
• Managing operational, financial, HR, and information resources, in collaboration with the Clinical Director
• Working Monday to Friday, with flexible start/finish times

You’ll also receive guidance and peer support from NUMs in nearby NSW and VIC locations, and be encouraged to visit other services as part of your induction and development.

About You:

• AHPRA-registered RN with experience in rehab or palliative care
• Strong leadership skills. While formal management experience is a bonus, if you’re a few years into your nursing career and excited to take the next step, with plenty of training and development opportunities, we’d love to hear from you.
• Full working rights and currently based in Australia
