About the Role We are seeking three (3) trade-qualified Working Foremen with strong commercial and hospitality fit-out experience to help deliver high-end bar and hospitality venues across Melbourne.

As a Working Foreman, you will combine hands-on trade expertise with leadership and coordination to ensure deliveries align with quality, timeline, and design expectations.

Key Responsibilities

• Interpret and work from architectural, joinery, and shop drawings and plans.
• Install custom joinery elements (e.g. bars, cabinets, counters, feature joinery common in hospitality venues)
• Execute structural and non-structural fit-out work (stud framing, partitions, bulkheads, wall linings, finishes)
• Run site inductions and Toolbox Talks.
• Coordinate and interface with mechanical, electrical, plastering, tiling, flooring, and other trades to ensure alignment and quality of finish.
• Maintain a high standard of finish, attention to detail, and adherence to the project scope.
• Manage workflow and resources under tight timelines
• Operate independently when necessary, and also act as part of the broader site team under supervision

What You Must Have / What We’re Looking For

• Trade qualification (Carpentry)
• Proven experience in commercial fit-out, especially in hospitality or retail environments
• Demonstrated ability to lead and manage small crews while maintaining high workmanship
• Familiarity with technical drawings, joinery details, and complex interior finishes
• Excellent attention to detail, quality orientation, and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication and coordination skills across trades
• Already based in Melbourne / readily able to travel within the metro area
• The legal right to work in Australia
• Own trade tools (joinery & carpentry tools)
• References (contact details) from at least two past employers

Due to the specialised nature of this role, only candidates with relevant commercial/hospitality fit-out experience will be considered.
