Workfast is seeking an Electrician to join our client on a Defence project at Tindal RAAF Air Base, NT.

This role involves installation of runway lighting and cabling systems, working with power and hand tools on a secure and high-profile site.
Mobilisation will take approximately 2-3 weeks, with all support provided to ensure a smooth onboarding process.

What You Get

• $80.00 per hour flat rate
• 21 days on / 7 days off roster (8-10 hour days)
• Accommodation and meals provided on site
• Drive/Bus in + Drive/Bus out from Darwin or surrounding areas
• Work with a major client with future projects available

What You Need

• Australian Trade Qualified Electrician
• Australian Citizenship or Permanent Residency (essential for Defence site access)
• National Police Clearance within the last 3 months (or ability to apply immediately)
• Current Australian Driver's License
• White Card
• Current LVR/CPR - desirable
• Ability to pass medical & drug and alcohol test
• Ability to work safely and efficiently on large-scale infrastructure projects

• Following technical plans and project requirements
• Working as part of a team to deliver high-quality outcomes in line with Defence standards
