Supported Independent Living (SIL) – 24/7 supports in shared housing. Our accommodation services heavily priorities the matching of customers over funding levels to achieve more harmonious living environments.
Vocations Program – focused on meeting specific employment goals relating to mainstream employment for our customers.
About the opportunity
We’re seeking compassionate and reliable Disability Support Workers to join our team in Wagga Wagga NSW. In this role, you’ll support NDIS participants to live more independently, achieve their goals, and participate fully in their community.
We want to employ people who reflect the diversity of our customers to ensure we can support each customer’s individual needs and wants. By building a diverse and inclusive team, we can better deliver person-centred support that empowers individuals while maintaining their dignity, safety, and wellbeing.
About you
We’re looking for people who:
Are passionate about delivering person-centred supports that make a genuine difference in participants’ lives.
Can work a variety of shift times and are committed to providing continuity of support.
Work well both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
Communicate clearly and professionally with participants, families, and other stakeholders.
Have a strong understanding of the NDIS and experience supporting participants to achieve their goals.
Bring proven experience in complex care environments.

Skills & Experience
The ideal candidate will bring a mix of skills, experience, and passion to our team:
Experience working within the community sector, minimum 6 months. Eg. support work, nursing, youth work, aged care, teaching, early childhood, or mental health support — combined with a genuine commitment to providing person-centred supports.
Ability to complete clear, concise, and factual shift notes.
Skilled in providing support and assistance to customers, including personal care, help with daily living tasks and community access.
Confidence in administering medication and following individual support plans.
Comfortable using technology (mobile apps and desktop software).
Enthusiasm for bringing your own unique approach to life and creating fun, engaging experiences for customers.
Ability to engage customers in meaningful and enjoyable activities.
A focus on encouraging independence, capacity building, and the development of new skills.
Commitment to empowering customers to plan and achieve their goals.
Demonstrating and promoting a positive lifestyle through role modelling.
What an average day might include
Supporting customers with daily living tasks, including personal care, meal preparation, and transportation
Helping customers participate in social and recreational activities to boost wellbeing and community involvement
Advocating for customers needs and working closely with multidisciplinary teams to provide personalised support
Keeping accurate customer records and documentation to ensure consistent, high-quality care
Assisting in creating and carrying out individual support plans
Promoting a safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment that respects eachcustomer’s rights, dignity, and choices
Essential Requirements
Current NDIS worker Check (or willing to obtain)
Current Working with Children Check
Unrestricted working in Australia Rights
Valid Driver’s license and access to reliable vehicle
COVID 19 Vaccination Status (3x)
Influenza vaccination (annually)
Current First Aid + CPR Certificate (HLTAID011/12 + HLTAID009)
