CPC Engineering's Karratha Division is seeking a local Electrician with cabling endorsements on a family & lifestyle friendly even time roster. FIFO candidates and employees willing to relocate to the Karratha region will also be considered for this role. Assistance in relocation may be provided should you be successful with your application.

CPC Engineering has over 50 years of experience in design, engineering, maintenance, and construction and is 100% Western Australian owned. CPC Karratha has a significant client base, including many Tier 1 mining companies, global service providers, local government departments, and local businesses with whom we undertake all aspects of electrical, telecommunications and construction works.

The Role:

The tasks carried out by these positions will include, but are not limited to:

Installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures.

Installation, maintenance, and repair of structured telecommunications and data wiring, equipment, and fixtures, including fibre optic.

Cabling

Ensure that work is completed per relevant standards and that your work is undertaken to the highest standard of accuracy and cleanliness.

Scoping, quoting, electrical compliance, and reporting.

Equipment Maintenance - Performing routine maintenance and repairs to equipment.

Assist in the training of apprentices and other divisional staff.

Inspection of electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards, defects, and the need for adjustment or repair, and to ensure compliance with electrical standards.

Education and Experience:

WA Electrical Workers Licence

Electrical Equipment in Hazardous Areas ticket (not essential but highly Regarded)

Cabling endorsements (not essential but highly Regarded)

Computer literacy

Ability to work in remote locations.

High-level communication and interpersonal skills

Current WA driver’s license
