As a key player in our team, you will facilitate seamless interactions between the Treasury and government ministers, ensuring that critical information flows efficiently and effectively.

The Ministerial Liaison Officer will ensure accurate and timely responses to correspondence, briefs, inquiries, and other requests for the Office of the Secretary, Ministerial Services, Senior Management, and the offices of the Treasurer and portfolio ministers. This role will manage the relationship between NSW Treasury and ministerial offices, and contribute to the effective management of Treasury’s systems and processes.

You will be joining our Office of The Secretary and Ministerial Services Group and will be working within the Office of The Secretary and Ministerial Services Division. Read more about your future Group and Division.

Achieve success as a Ministerial Liaison Officer

In this integral role there are a few things we would like for you to have to best support yourself and add value to the people of NSW.

The ideal candidate should meet the following criteria:

· Demonstrated ability to communicate and negotiate effectively with a range of stakeholders.

· Good conceptual and analytical skills and the ability to solve problems effectively and efficiently.

· Highly organised with the ability to multi-task, plan and manage work processes involving multiple stakeholders to meet deadlines.

· Demonstrated experience in writing briefs and correspondence.

· Highly desirable to have robust skills with Microsoft Suite (particularly Word) and workflow systems (such as Nintex or Objective).

Eligibility
