- Permanent, full-time position (38 hours per week).
- Remuneration package of $2,941.44 gross per fortnight with the opportunity to progress to $3,529.73 gross per fortnight + superannuation (12%).
- Access to Council's Nine (9) Day Fortnight Arrangement, with every second Monday off as a Rostered Day Off (RDO).

Key Responsibilities:
As the Community Reuse and Recycling Coordinator, you will be responsible for:
- Oversee all sales activities and sales associated jobs including supporting staff in greeting customers, answering questions, processing payments, and maintaining a professional attitude reflecting Councils commitment to customers.
- Lead, engage, mentor, and develop the team, ensuring effective personnel management in order to deliver operational works and achieve the best organisational and community outcomes.
- Plan and coordinate the Reuse team's work activities including plant, materials, and contractors.
- Operate internal reporting systems and generate reports to management on request.
- Oversee onsite compliance against reporting requirements, ensuring key performance indicators are achieved.
- Effectively manage the collection, presentation and sale of re-saleable materials ensuring maximum recyclable diversion.
- Promote and plan opportunities to increase diversion and sales revenue.
- Communicate with other team members to maximise diversion and sales.
- Develop a yearly communications plan to support reuse shop activities.
- Maintain the reuse shop to a high level of housekeeping and establish a pricing mechanism that encourages the uptake of goods
- Develop procedures relevant to the role to provide guidance around the management of the reuse shop facility.

Essential Requirements of the Position:
As the successful applicant, you will bring a strong mix of qualifications, skills and professional experience, including:
- Class C Driver's Licence.
- General Construction Induction Training Card.
- National Certificates of Competency - Forklift (LF) (Desirable).
- Demonstrated experience, skills, and knowledge relevant to the role, including but not limited to working in a retail environment; cash handling; and resource recovery and/or genuine interest in protecting the environment.
- Experience leading and working effectively in a team and independently.
In accordance with Work Health and Safety legislation, the successful applicant is required to be vaccinated for Hepatitis A, Hepatitis B and Tetanus and will be asked to provide evidence of this.
