We are seeking passionate and dedicated Certificate III and Diploma Qualified Educators to join our team in a casual role. This is a fantastic opportunity to work across our Early Education and Care Centres, where you will contribute to creating a safe, engaging, and nurturing environment that supports children’s learning and development. If you are enthusiastic, reliable, and committed to making a positive impact in the lives of children and families, we would love to hear from you.
We currently have services in Watson, Forrest, Barton and Narrabundah.
About the Role:
To assist in the recording of individual observations on a regular basis and make suggestions for the planning of appropriate experiences.
To respect and value each child’s background and culture, and display anti-bias practices throughout the program, routine and interactions.
To expose the children to a variety of experiences, which will extend interest and stimulate them.
To assist in the preparation of children’s transitions throughout the Centre.
To build a positive relationship with the children in order to develop trust between carer, child and parent.
Be committed to continuous professional development and apply learning to the program.
About you:
ACECQA-approved qualifications - Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care, Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (actively studying towards these qualification) (mandatory)
Hold unrestricted Working with Vulnerable People Card
Strong understanding of the National Quality Framework, including the Early Years Learning Framework
Ability to inspire and mentor educators to achieve best practices.
Committed to supporting children’s learning and confidence through engaging activities
Ability to build strong connections with children, families and team
Relevant work experience in a similar role
What we offer:
CS#1 currently pays above the award at an hourly Rate of $29.53 - $31.50 for Certificate 3 Qualified Educator or an hourly rate of $33.25 for a Diploma Qualified. This rate in not inclusive of the WRG, Superannuation or Salary Packaging Benefits.

About Community Services #1
Community Service #1 (CS#1) is a community based not-for-profit, non-government organisation incorporated as an association in 1987. The organisation manages and delivers a range of community services including community development, family support services, training services, children’s services and aged care and disability services.
