The Role

You’ll be responsible for designing robust, hygienic, and high-performance mechanical systems tailored to the unique demands of food and meat processing environments. From concept to commissioning, your work will directly impact operational outcomes and client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

Develop detailed 3D models and manufacturing drawings using Autodesk Inventor

Design machinery and components that meet hygiene, safety, and performance standards specific to the food and meat industries

Perform classical engineering calculations to validate structural integrity, mechanical performance, and compliance

Collaborate with cross-functional teams including fabrication, controls, and compliance

Support documentation for regulatory approvals and client handover

Contribute to continuous improvement and innovation in design methodology

What You’ll Bring

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline

Proven experience designing machinery for food and/or meat processing environments

Proficiency in Autodesk Inventor is essential

Strong grasp of classical calculation methods (e.g. stress, strain, torque, load analysis)

Understanding of hygienic design principles and industry standards

Excellent communication and documentation skills

A proactive mindset and commitment to quality
