The Role

We’re looking for a motivated and skilled Mechanical Engineer/Designer in HVAC Services to join our growing Melbourne team. This is a full-time, hands-on role that will see you involved in the design, coordination, and delivery of mechanical services projects, working closely with our project managers, site teams, and clients to deliver standout results.

You’ll play a key part in ensuring our systems are designed to spec, built to last, and installed to perfection.

What You’ll Bring

Tertiary qualification in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline

2+ years of experience in mechanical/HVAC building services

Strong understanding of Australian Standards and building codes

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

A proactive mindset with a focus on quality, safety, and teamwork

Key Responsibilities:

Perform load calculations, pressure drop analysis, duct sizing, pipe sizing, and equipment selection.

Develop coordination drawings in line with architectural, structural, and other services.

Perform load calculations, pressure drop analysis, duct sizing, pipe sizing, and equipment selection.

Assist in developing system layouts that comply with project specifications and relevant Australian Standards (AS 1668, etc).

Support the project manager and site team with drawing revisions, markups, and technical clarifications.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date drawing registers, revision logs, and documentation records.

Prepare As-Built drawings at the end of the construction phase based on redlines from site.
