Randstad is partnering with a top name in the municipal vehicle industry, to find a dedicated Trade Qualified Fitter or LV mechanic to join their welcoming and expert production team. About the Role

As a Trade Qualified Fitter in the Production Team, you will be crucial to the final product quality. You will be responsible for the mechanical assembly and fit out of parts and components across Bucher Municipal's diverse product range, ensuring all work meets rigorous design and quality standards.

This is also an opporutinity for LV Mechanics who would like to upskill to work on more heavy duty equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform the mechanical assembly and fit out of parts and components.
• Assist with fabrication and MIG welding as required.
• Identify and undertake corrective action on defective equipment and worn mechanical components.
• Troubleshoot assembly and fitting issues.
• Complete accurate and timely administrative records of work undertaken.
• Ensure all work complies with quality and safety requirements and standards.

Skills and Experience Required:

To be considered for this permanent position, you must possess the following:

• A Trade Qualification as a Fitter (Essential).
• Proven experience with fabrication and MIG welding.
• A good understanding of hydraulics.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work without supervision.
• Must be an Australian Permanent Resident or Citizen.
