Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Fitter to join our maintenance team. In this hands-on role, you will be responsible for the repair, servicing, and preventative maintenance of production machinery and site equipment to ensure safe, efficient, and reliable operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out preventative and corrective maintenance on production equipment and plant machinery.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical faults to minimise downtime.
• Perform machine changeovers, adjustments, and upgrades as required.
• Work closely with production staff to ensure equipment operates at optimal performance.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and adhere to safety and quality standards.

Skills & Experience

• Trade qualification as a Mechanical Fitter or equivalent.
• Previous experience in food or FMCG manufacturing (highly desirable).
• Strong fault-finding and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
• Understanding of safe work practices and HACCP/food safety standards.
