As a Senior Accountant, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality accounting, tax, and business advisory services. You’ll have the opportunity to manage client relationships, mentor junior staff, and contribute to the growth and success of the practice.

Key Responsibilities

Preparation and review of financial statements, tax returns, BAS and IAS for a range of companies, trusts, partnerships, superannuation and individual clients

Provide tax planning and business advisory services

Client relationship management and engagement

Monthly and quarterly compliance as required

Manage a client portfolio and act as their trusted advisor

Review and mentor junior accountants, ensuring quality and compliance

Build strong client relationships and identify opportunities for growth

Liaison with the ATO

About You

CA/CPA qualified (or close to completion)

3+ years solid Accounting experience in an Australian Public Practice

Strong technical knowledge across taxation and compliance

Excellent communication skills with the ability to build strong client rapport

Proactive, professional, and a team player

Proficiency across Xero and MYOB required

Mornington Peninsula locals encouraged to apply, or candidates within a manageable radius to commute to the Mornington Peninsula daily.
