CNC Machinists – Day & afternoon shifts available

Pay Rate: $50.90/hr + super (day shift)

Shift Loadings: +17.5% (afternoon)

Employment Type: Ongoing casual with the potential to transition to permanent

We’re seeking experienced CNC Machinists to join a well-established manufacturing operation in Bayswater. With positions available for an immediate start, this is a great opportunity for skilled machinists looking for consistent, long-term work.

Key Responsibilities:

Programming and setting CNC machines (Mori Seiki and L&L)

Interpreting and working from detailed engineering drawings and blueprints

Operating and maintaining precision measuring equipment (micrometers, verniers, dial gauges, bore gauges, etc.)

Completing machining tasks accurately and efficiently within timeframes

Upholding high standards of safety and housekeeping in the workshop

What We’re Looking For:

Strong CNC programming and setting experience (essential)

Cert IV in Engineering (CNC machinist) or equivalent

Familiarity with Fanuc and/or MSX control systems (highly regarded)

Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings with precision

Confident use of precision measurement tools and gauge

Proficient in mathematical calculations and problem-solving

Fantastic attitude and a real team player

$59.81 per hour plus penalties (afternoon shift)
