Licensed Capacity: 70 places

Opening Hours: 7:00am - 6:30pm Monday to Friday

Annual Salary: $100,000 - $120,000 p.a + bonus (depending on experience, level and performance)

About the Role

Little Genius Childcare & Kindergarten is seeking a passionate and experienced Centre Director to lead our centre and inspire excellence in early education.

We’re on an exciting journey of growth and are now looking for a confident Centre Director to lead our Glen Waverley centre with passion, purpose, and pride.

As a Centre Director, you will:

Lead, coach, and support educators to achieve excellence in pedagogy and care

Uphold child-safe practices, guiding the team in creating a safe, supportive, and nurturing environment where children are always at the heart of everything we do.

Drive continuous quality improvement – Lead the charge in striving for Exceeding NQS outcomes and maintaining a culture of excellence

Foster community relations – Develop strong, trusting relationships with families, children, and community partners

Build strong and lasting relationships with families to maintain occupancy

Ensure adherence to all compliance and regulatory requirements (EYLF, NQS, ACECQA)

Drive a positive and supportive workplace culture that reflects Little Genius’ values

What We're Looking For

You’re a natural leader who’s passionate about early childhood education. You value relationships, thrive in a dynamic environment, and love bringing out the best in others.

5+ years' experience as Centre Director (or similar leadership role)

Diploma or Bachelor in Early Childhood Education (or ACECQA-approved equivalent)

Previous leadership experience in a childcare or early education setting

Strong knowledge of the National Quality Framework (NQF), Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF), Child Safe Standards (CSS)

Current Working with Children Check (VIC) and Police Check

Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma & Anaphylaxis certifications
