Are you a Registered Nurse with a passion for empowering others by delivering high-level training? Centacare is seeking an experienced Workplace Trainer to join our Single Assessment Service (SAS) team and help build the capability of our Clinical and Non-Clinical Assessors.
In this vital role, you’ll lead the delivery of high-quality, compliant training programs to support our service delivery team. Your clinical expertise will ensure our teams are confident, competent, and aligned with best-practice care and regulatory standards.

What you’ll do:

  • Design and deliver engaging training across induction, mandatory compliance, and role-specific clinical skills
  • Provide coaching and mentorship through a train-the-trainer model
  • Develop and assess competency-based training tools to meet aged care quality frameworks
  • Collaborate with clinical leaders to improve staff capability, performance, and outcomes for vulnerable clients
  • Translate complex clinical information into accessible learning resources
  • Maintain a client-centred, trauma-informed and culturally safe training approach

What you’ll bring:

  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116) or higher qualification in adult education
  • At least 1 year of experience as an Aged Care Needs Assessor or in clinical learning & development
  • Sound knowledge of aged care compliance, MACLearning systems, and best-practice care delivery
  • Strong stakeholder engagement, communication and coaching skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and digital learning platforms
  • Driver’s Licence and willingness to travel as required

*Mandatory Requirements

  • Tertiary qualifications in Nursing or other health discipline with current AHPRA registration.
  • Current QLD Working with Children Check (or ability to obtain).
  • National Police Check (within the last 3 months or willingness to apply).
  • Current Driver’s Licence.
  • Evidence of Australian working rights.
