Key responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive occupational therapy assessments and develop individualised treatment plans to address the unique needs of each patient
Deliver effective occupational therapy interventions, including therapeutic activities, assistive technology recommendations, and environmental modifications
Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to coordinate patient care and ensure seamless transitions across the continuum of service
Provide clinical supervision and mentorship to junior occupational therapy staff and Allied Health Assistants, supporting their professional development.
Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the continuous enhancement of our occupational therapy services
Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, ensuring compliance with organisational and regulatory standards
What we're looking for
Tertiary qualifications in Occupational Therapy with current AHPRA registration.
Minimum 2 years of post-graduate clinical experience.
Strong clinical reasoning skills with proven expertise across physical, cognitive, and psychosocial presentations.
Strong clinical reasoning and problem-solving skills, with the ability to adapt interventions to meet individual patient needs
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to work collaboratively with clients, families, and professionals.
Demonstrated commitment to evidence-based practice and continuous professional development.
A passion for mentoring, leadership, and growing a positive team culture.
